This paper aims to examine the energy sector of Azerbaijan and its potential
transition towards renewable energy. Predominantly, I must analyze if
Azerbaijan applies any possible strategy in the field of renewable energy development. To address this issue, I intensely scrutinize Azerbaijan's
energy sector with a focus on the level of renewable energy usage and
projects that are inclined to develop its green energy sector. As a result of
the research conducted, it is highly crucial to highlight that Azerbaijan
enforces renewable energy with the country's scope of resources. Also,
Azerbaijan has implemented different strategies to accelerate the creation
of RES infrastructure at a state level and collaborate with international
companies accordingly. In the meantime, there are still ongoing projects
and developments underway for the inclusion of cutting-edge technologies
in the field of RES.
